Five Akwa Ibom officials are now on the search light of all security agencies including, the EFCC, Police, lCPC and other intelligence agencies in Nigeria.
The 5 officials comprising of three males and two females of the Akwa Ibom State government whose their names and pictures were summited to the security agencies is believed to be the hand work of a leading politician from the All Progressive Congress party in the state .
They are on anti corruption watchlist over allegations of ‘Conspiracy,criminal breach of trust, money laundering and misappropriation of public funds’.

According to a September 2018 document sighted by our reporter, the five suspects are spread across the state ministry of finance, ministry of justice and Office of the Accountant General of the state.
The document indicated the names of the suspects to include Linus Nsikan Nkam of Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Finance; Jacobson Ndomah Mfon of the Office of the State Accountant General and Edet Asuquo Jacob of Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice.
The two females are Margaret Thompson Ukpe of the office of State Accountant General and Glory Etekamba Umoren of the state ministry finance who is believed to be the wife of Mr Etekamba Umoren a former permanent secretary in the Akwa Ibom State h House during Godswill Akpabio`s regime. He was also appointed the Secretary to the state government by the Udom Emmanuel `s administration .
We gathered that their names were alleged to be the channels used for huge funds laundering, especially during this election period.
