BARR. FEMI PHILIPS IGNITES IGBOTAKO COMMUNITY WITH 4,000 LITRES BOREHOLE PROJECT

The people of Igbotako Community are in joyous modes and are reaping the dividends of democracy courtesy
Barrister Femi Philips Ogunjumelo.

Ogunjumelo has brought sparkling life to his community at Igbotako by donating a 4,000 litres borehole project.
Barr. Femi Philips Ogunjumelo, a lawyer of international repute is based in Houston, Texas in United States of America.
He decided to put smiles on the faces of his people back home at Igbotako where he donated a 4,000 litres solar power borehole to his people.

Commending the good gestures of USA based legal icon , the royal Highness of the community, His Royal Highness Oba Gbadebo Bajowa was full of praises for Barrister Ogunjumelo thanked him for letting this development to happen during his time as the paramount ruler of Igbotako.

All and sundry in the community and it’s environs were full of joy for this wonderful feat.
The Igbotako community which is one of the largest communities in Okitipupa Local Government Area cannot boast of any portable water.
It is still a norm that members of the community are still fetching drinking water from the stream even at this age and time .

The last time the community saw government initiated portable water i was in 1980 as such this 4000 litres borehole project will no doubt alleviate the water needs of the people of the community.

But the people say, they are still hopeful that other well meaning indigenes of the community will still come up with initiatives like this that will further alleviate the suffering of the community and the people will be better for it.
