NSC Set to Host Stakeholders, December 12

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) is now set to host maritime stakeholders to an appreciation night come December 12th 2019 at the at the prestigious Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The appreciation night which is an annual event organised by the NSC is scheduled to start by 5pm and is aimed at bringing together major players in the maritime industry to rub minds on critical issues affecting the sector.

This was stated in a release made available to newsmen on Monday from the Council . The event is expected to be chaired by Chief Oladipupo Jadesimi, Executive Chairman, Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL), while the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, would be the chief Host of the event.

The one-day event would have in attendance, various stakeholders from the port industry including Shippers Associations, Ship owners, and Ship operators, Seaports/ Off Dock terminal operators, Freight forwarders, Cargo consolidators, Transport and Logistics providers, Truck owners and Truck operators.

Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are Inland Dry Port Concessionaires, organised private sector , relevant government agencies, marine surveyors and maritime lawyers and arbitrators among others.
