ANLCA Mourns Hon.Ossy Prestige

The Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) is mourning the demise of their member , Hon. Ositadima Chinedu Prestige who was officially confirm dead yesterday.

Hon. Ossy Prestige as he was fondly called untill his death was a member of the Nigeria’s House of Representatives, representing Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency of Abia state . He was said to have died of cancer.

According to a statement by the National President of ANLCA, Hon. Iju Tony Nwabunike, through his Senior Special Assistant , Media, Mr Val Iwuchukwu Esq, he died in London after a protracted illness and described him as one of the pillars of ANLCA. The message reads,

” The death has been announced of Hon. Ositadinma Chinedu Prestige whose sad event took place in London after a protracted illness.

“Ossy Prestige was one of the pillars in which ANLCA is anchored, having played leadership roles in different capacity in ANLCA Eastern Zone, one of which is two times Chairman of Onne Sea Port Chapter of ANLCA. He was a great professional and was among the very few that own bounded terminal in Port Harcourt. He was such a perfect gentleman whose love for ANLCA was not in doubt.

“The National President Iju Tony Nwabunike has described Hon Prestige’s passage as a huge loss to ANLCA in particular and the nation in general.

“Hon. Ossy Prestige until his death was a member representing Aba North and Aba South, Abia State in the National Assembly. The role ANLCA will play in his burial will be communicated subsequently. May his soul rest in the peace. Condolence Register will be opened at the National Secretariat immediately of ANLCA”, the statement said.
